The legacy lives on through

the life of Mother Gladys Thomas...

On October 23, 1955 Pastor Adolph & Mother Gladys Thomas decided to take on the world as husband and wife. Little did they know what God had in store for them. Not only did they take on that role, later in life, they took on the role as mother and father of 8 children.

Their relationship was good, but they discovered a better relationship when they came in contact with God and the divine assignment for their life. Pastor Thomas was, as Mother Thomas is a friend, leader, and inspirer. They will always be a treasure and gift to the body of Christ.

After the passing of Pastor Thomas, Mother Thomas's strength was supernaturally multiplied. She never ceased from the mandate of prayer, which has resulted in her prayer life soaring to a celestial high. With the strains of ministry today, Mother Thomas constantly reminds us "we must pray about...prayer is the key and faith will unlock the door".

Mother Thomas currently serves as Mother of Church of the LWBC. She is actively involved within the ministry, as she oversees the Noon Day Prayer ministry, serves on the Mother's Board, and a vital part of the intercessory prayer team. As a chief intercessor, Mother Thomas provides her diligent support to the leadership of LWBC.

Mother Gladys Thomas...A Praying Woman!

Mother Gladys Thomas

"If my people, which are called by my name,
shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek
my face, and turn from their wicked ways,
then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive
their sins, and will heal the land,"
saith the Lord.
